Corona Guidelines
Family Worship Center meets at 10 AM on Sunday every weekend at 1901 Mt Hope Rd in Grass Lake, MI under the following precautions:
Masks: Wearing a mask is strongly recommended for anyone medically able when moving to and from seats. We will have some provided but would appreciate you bring your own 🙂
Seats: Chairs are in groups of 4, or 5, and are seperated at least 6.5' from one another front to back and 8' left to right. (three rows). Please only sit with other members of your household - or people you came with.
Cleaning: All handles, surfaces, chair's etc. are being cleaned before and after service with EPA.gov approved products.
Health: Anyone who has had a fever in the last 14 days, symptoms of a cold, or any health concerns which may put them at risk are advised to not attend corporate gatherings.
Distance: All attendees are strongly advised to keep a healthy 6ft distance between themselves and others (not their family of course).
Purple Bracelet: Put this on if you want to signify you want EXTRA distance! So if you see anyone with one on please do not approach them, let them approach you 🙂
Entrance: You can chat (socially distant of course) out front where a "welcome table" will be which contains water, purple wrist bands, and masks for those without one. Or you can talk with those seated around you. You can grab a PURPLE wristband if you want extra distance during your visit. By 9:50 (or anytime before that) you should be making your way in through the front and be directed straight to your seat!
Exit: Each seat will have a number on the chair back in front of it or on the wall next to it. At the end of service a video will play on the screens indicating which seat may rise and make their way to the side door (next to the kitchen). This will assure we maintain healthy distance on exit.
Second Service: If we find we need a second service we will update you on time/location (outside or inside) by Friday before service.
Tithe & Offering: A lockbox will be fastened next to the exit. Feel free to drop any offerings etc. in there! Please do NOT drop spoons with peanut butter on them... we have people with peanut allergies.
Water: Water is great... but our fountain will be off per CDC guidelines. So bring a water, or grab a bottle on your way through the entrance.
Service Length
In total, a Family Worship Center service is about 60-75 minutes in length. Services generally carry the below format:
-
Opening Address (1-2 minutes)
-
Worship Set (20 minutes)
-
Kids Ages 3-15 Dismissed to their stream in a separate room
-
Message (20-30 minutes)
- Exit (5 minutes)

Kids
We have an “in service” stream for our young ones (3-15 years old) but do not have a nursery running. However, we do invite you to keep your littlest ones with you during service. Don’t worry, no one minds if it gets chaotic! PLEASE let us know how many children you’re bringing so that we can assure enough room and staff are available.
Attire
Sunday's at Family Worship Center are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest, no need to dress up!
